All I Want For Christmas Is My 2 Front Teeth . . . As If!

 

Every time I hear that silly song on the radio, I have to laugh inside because that kid was never me.  Who in their right mind would wish for teeth when you could wish for 'stuff'. And by 'stuff', I mean things that I would really want and would enjoy using.

Everyday my inbox is full of emails from highfalutin stores around the country touting their wonderous gift ideas for that someone special in your life. Out of curiousity (and a slight competitiveness) I open about 1/3 of the headers. Most of the emails are filled with the most random and obscure objects imaginable.

Personally, I would like to think that the gift I choose for someone is not only special but also useful. And, when it is used (hopefully often), 'said' someone-special-gift recipient will think happy thoughts and joy, joy, joy. Because isn't that the meaning of Christmas - spreading joy to loved ones and not cashing in on internet bargains, ahem.
